In this thematic meetup we will have a short tutorial about the shiny package. Shiny makes it easy to build interactive web apps straight from R. You can host standalone apps on a webpage or embed them in R Markdown documents or build dashboards.
We will cover the following topics:
- What is a shiny app and why and when should we use it
- Examples of shiny apps developed by members of out meetup. Here’s one
- How to build a shiny app from sctatch
- Share and deploy a shiny app. Different options, pros and cons
- Questions and discussion
